These are just two examples of fireplace mantels that I have built. The one is an heirloom quality reproduction Chippendale syled mantelpiece. The other is a Federal flavored surround of my own design for a country home. I have been carving, designing, and building mantels for over two decades, including French designs, and have more photos for those who are interested in seeing other examples. Also, these are very formal designs: I am also able to offer spectacular relief carved mantel designs and any other creative options you might like.
