the up-scale architectural, design, and interior design communities of the Northeast with exceptional products and skills since 1986. Since 1998 these offerings have been available to anyone with a connection to the Worldwide Web, or a telephone and a FAX machine, with the same personal attention that each of our clients receives when meeting with us at their home or our studio workshop.
Specializing in custom hand carving and offering masterpiece woodworking, original
furniture designs, and unique contemporary sculpture, we are able to work together with our clients to create just about anything that they might imagine or desire in fine woodwork.When my skills are joined with those of my friend and associate Nicholas D. Brown III, who is one of the finest furniture makers and master craftsmen on the Eastern seaboard, we can produce work that is extraordinary.

For two decades, SONRISE WOODCARVING STUDIO has been supplying hand carved
detailing for the oldest and most respected supplier of fireplace furnishings in North America, returning to North American shores a quality of craftsmanship rarely found outside of the English and European carving guilds. To be able to stand well in such an honored tradition is a matter of some personal pride, and I endeavor to maintain these high standards for all of the commissions I accept.
