  1. THREE TROUT SWIMMING IN A FREESTONE STREAM: I enjoy fly-fishing for trout and at one point became focused on carving and painting trout: There are over seventy varieties of them and they are all beautiful. This wall sculpture is carved in mahogany and left unpainted. Each fish is about nine inches long.

  2. THREE RAINBOW TROUT IN A FREESTONE STREAM: This wall piece is from the same series as the mahogany sculpture, but has three rainbow trout swimming in a freestone stream.

  3. TROUT IN A FREESTONE STREAM RISING TO A FLY: This relief panel in mahogany might be the centerpiece of a lakeside cabin mantel or it could just as readily stand alone as a decorative wall sculpture. An expanded design might become the front of a bar or the focal center of the door to a office or den.

  4. BLACK OAK BROOK TROUT CARVED AND PAINTED: This Brook Trout was carved out of a Black oak tree limb. The unpainted carving can be seen in the chainsaw carving section of this gallery. It is about four feet long and it became an element in a taxidermy studio sign.
